4H Equistars & Pony People

4H Equistars and Pony People meet the first and third Wednesdays of the month and one Sunday afternoon TBA at Green Heron Farm.

Green Heron Farm is the home of the 4H Equistars and Pony People club. We learn about the many aspects of horse care and stable management. We participate in 4H horse program activities like public presentattions, horse bowl, hippology and community service. While some of our members have their own horses many of our members do not, but through this club everyone is able to learn more about horses and meet others who share those interests. Last year we had the opportunity to attend a veterinary science program at Ulster County Community College.
